The 9ff GT9-R and Shelby 1000 S/C are not factory cars. And almost any tuned car can be considered “limited” so that just broadens it big time. If you want me to use more “lower” end tuned 911s and Mustangs instead, then how about the Gemballa Avalanche and Roush RS3? Those aren’t exactly common either. I’ve seen more Gallardo Superleggeras than…[Read more]

JDM does not exist unless you are talking about the grey market R32 or equivalents. The other cars are all AEM, with JDM parts, installed on AEM cars, but they are…

Wait, when was a Carrera GT there? I was at C&C on that date and didn’t see the Carrera GT. Did it leave relatively early or something?

I go to the Cars and Coffee here in Irvine, California and there have been plenty of warnings in the past about people doing burnouts before, and now they are very much NOT allowed. Fast acceleration is fine, as long as you don’t go over the speed limit/it’s within reason and control. The people standing on the sidewalk (me included) are always…[Read more]

I would like a JDM “mob” if it consisted of NSXs, LFAs, a couple highly-modified S2000s, some highly-modified Z-cars, a Toyota 2000GT, and a Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car…but other than that: no

The C&C veterans have pretty much answered all of your questions.
But to suggest one good car place to visit, one that you can go to pretty much after Cars and Coffee Irvine is the Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin, California. It has many great and rare cars like a Jaguar XJ220 S, one of Aryton Senna’s Mclaren F1 cars, a Cizeta Moroder V16T,…[Read more]

People with most Lambos, certain modified cars, or if we’re ever blessed to have a Koenigsegg owner turn up should never have to park badly with their fancy doors lololol
But yeah that sucks. I understand you want to reduce the chance of hurting your car, especially if it’s expensive and/or new (I don’t even want to hurt my boring 2002 Toyota…[Read more]

Awesome sound and a beautiful car!
But I have to ask: those sirens at the end, did the cops go after them? I mean I can see why they would if they did

I thought the point of Cars and Coffee was just to be a public car show for everybody to show their nice car?
Personally I’d rather see 22 1Ms than most of the tuned normal cars. A tuned car would have to be something really special like a 1000hp anything, which are usually something special to begin with anyways, or that insane looking Fiat 500…[Read more]
Zs V replied to the topic Question about parking my car in the forum Cars and Coffee Irvine 12 years, 3 months ago
Yeah. There’s a separate lot pretty much right next to the main show lot, so it’s not an inconvenience
I’ve even seen C6 Corvettes and a Porsche 911 GT3 (997) in the normal lot, so that should give you some perspective
Zs V replied to the topic Question from Newbie.. in the forum Cars and Coffee Irvine 12 years, 5 months ago
There’s a separate lot for normal cars that’s very close to where all the show cars are.
I’ve even seen a 911 GT3 in there! I don’t get how that’s not special enough but whatever…

Definitely. Unless it’s a Lambo LM002 or a military spec SUV or something, but that’s really it

I’m no regular, I’ve only been once, and I do enjoy seeing the common Porsche 911, Corvette, Mustang, etc. no matter how many I’ve seen on the streets. In fact I almost always give them second glances as well.
However, I’m going to have to agree. When I went on 9/3/11, I remember seeing 2 cars driving away because the lot was full. And they were…[Read more]
