NOT a “cars and coffee” event, but an actual show.. TODAY. If you’re bored and want to get out of the house.
Music, food, drinks, cars… what more do you need?

May 13, 2012 at 5:08 am #133483soareyesMemberThere are a couple of spots that folks are gathering… The First Saturday of the month there is a BIG gathering up in Louisville. Second Saturday of the month is “Shine at The Shrine”. As for WEEKLY things where it’s the same spot each and every Saturday… I don’t think a location has been nailed down that will commit to allowing the use of a lot.

May 12, 2012 at 6:55 pm #133482soareyesMemberGood showing today despite the fact that the weatherman was telling stories about freezing rain and locust falling from the sky. Chilly and grey, but not a drop of rain. A good time was had by all.. Some very cool cars and trucks in attendance. Coffee and bloody marys were the order of the day. A job well done by the El Jebel staff on putting out the refreshments for everyone!
We’ll be doing it again on Saturday JUNE 9th 9am – noon
Hope to see everyone next month.

April 20, 2012 at 2:30 pm #134076soareyesMemberThe next thing going on that I’m aware of ( sort of ) is that there is a gathering on the FIRST Sat of the month. I’ve heard GREAT Things about this one, but haven’t been yet myself: From the MB Board…
It looks like there is a Coffee and Cars the first Saturday of the month in Lafayette. I am planning on going this weekend. Anyone interested in joining me? It would be nice to meet up there.
It looks like the address is:
The adjacent carpark:
2755 Dagny Way
Lafayette, CO 80026April 14, 2012 at 10:28 pm #133481soareyesMemberQuick “after action report”
Weather was perfect. Good crowd, plenty of food and drink for everyone… Great mix of people and vehicles. Land Rovers, MG, Jag and two Porsche 911s. Even some overlanding vehicles set up for serious back country camping.
Lots of kids running around which is a good thing. Without younger kids being interested in the hobby, we’d be in a rough spot.
We’ll be doing it again May 12th 9am – Noon

April 14, 2012 at 12:52 am #133480soareyesMemberWeather in the morning should be fine. Come out and have a free cup of coffee and bitch about how much better car shows used to be. 😉
April 11, 2012 at 2:10 am #133474soareyesMemberIf you’d like to attend a local event and help out a charity.. “Shine at The Shrine” is going to be every 2d Saturday. NO Fees, no nothing $ related. FREE COFFEE.. IF IF IF you’d care to donate to our charity, that would be fantastic. NO fee, no pressure… just come out and have fun and see some cool cars.
March 21, 2012 at 2:22 am #133479soareyesMemberLatest update. The Solihull Society will be providing FREE COFFEE for everyone. For those wanting something more along the lines of an “adult beverage” such as a Bloody Mary ( for co-drivers only… lets not get into trouble), the restaurant and bar will be open during the event.
Email me if you have any questions..

Hello all
I am one of the founding members of the Camaro Club Of The Rockies (CCOTR) and have been to a few Cars and Coffees at the Southlands Mall location and then several at the other location off of Arapahoe. If you are still looking for a new location, I may have one. I own the Self Serve Yogurt (Zookie’s) at the SE corner of Buckley Rd and Alameda (in the Benders Brat House plaza). I have spoken to the landloard/owner and the are certainly willing to entertain the Cars and Coffee show in their parking lot. They wouldnt charge anything and just asked that if any permits would be riquired that they be taken care of. Let me know if you are interested and I can find out more details. It would be a good location, right on Buckley road in Aurora.
Looks like Benders opens at 10am. ooooohhh man that is enough of a reason to make the drive out there!!! To anyone who hasn’t eaten at Benders, you are missing out. http://www.bendersbrathaus.com/ And I’m sure that your place ( Zookies ) is good as well.
November 5, 2011 at 3:23 pm #133303soareyesMemberAny details on why this was cancelled??
Stay tuned ( no pun intended ) for a new event in North Denver that will be for the foreign / exotic car crowd. Probably only monthly, and with a charity focus.. more details as they are ironed out among the organizers.
