If you’ve not had your fill of petrol fumes after the C&C British show this Saturday head on out to California Speedway. VARA (Vintage Auto Racing Asso.) will be racing there Saturday and Sunday. Lots of British, and other, vintage cars making a bunch of noise and going entirely too fast. (No affiliation, etc., etc.)
how much is the event? also, did i see something about a lunch time drive on the race track? does that mean i can drive my car on the track?

Looks like it is $10 for a pit pass, and the lunch time lapping is open to the public (but I don’t know what it will cost).

The lunch time drive around usually costs about twenty bucks. The line forms very early and there are often so many cars they are divided up into two groups. If you plan to do the drive around, buy your ticket as soon as possible to be sure you’re not left out. Just ask someone who looks all official like where to by the tickets.
