If you’ve not had your fill of petrol fumes after the C&C British show this Saturday head on out to California Speedway. VARA (Vintage Auto Racing Asso.) will be racing there Saturday and Sunday. Lots of British, and other, vintage cars making a bunch of noise and going entirely too fast. (No affiliation, etc., etc.)

Looks like it is $10 for a pit pass, and the lunch time lapping is open to the public (but I don’t know what it will cost).

The line forms very early and there are often so many cars they are divided up into two groups. If you plan to do the drive around, buy your ticket as soon as possible to be sure you’re not left out. Just ask someone who looks all official like where to by the tickets.
