Hello everyone, well back by popular demand is the second Summer Solstice event. In 2008 there were about 100 great cars that showed up for the Mid-Night Drive. Why would this year be any different? Well, it won’t be. Just like last year, this event will be open for all makes and models of cars to attend and join on a great cruise through the foothills.
In 2008, we had so many cars last year that the local police actually closed the road so we could get them all out on the road at once! So please spread the word that the 2009 Summer Solstice is still strong and will be fun for everyone; kids, dogs, and even cats?
Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts and the poor economy, we regret to inform you that we had to move locations. Also, this year there won’t be a BBQ to kick off the drive. However, we are making arrangements with local food places at our GTG spot to see if they can accommodate a larger than usual group.
Details; please meet in the East portion of the Lowes parking lot along Wadsworth Bypass. Lowes is located in Arvada at the West 53rd Avenue and Wadsworth Bypass intersection. (See attached pic; click for bigger)
