CleanTech OC, a local trade association, and UC Irvine, are hosting an event focusing on plug-in electric vehicles on Wednesday, May 11 at the UCI Student Center. Following the event will be a reception featuring an exhibit of several electric cars like the Chevy Volt, Tesla Roadster, an all-electric F-150, and others. As a member of the Coffee and Cars Irvine Chapter, you can use the discount code “CCirvine” to save $15 on registration.
Electric vehicles are quickly becoming some of the hottest autos on the market, and their wider adoption presents an array of opportunities and challenges for our cities, utilities, businesses, and neighbors. This event will feature a series of panel discussions exploring what it means to be “PEV-ready,” featuring speakers representing startup and major auto manufacturers, electric vehicle charging systems, the utilities, regulatory agencies, and other critical stakeholders.
