New to Cars and Coffee. Seen any Rabbits??

    Well I’m new here to Cars and Coffee but I wanted to come down to the cruise in, at Irvine one of these days. I was wondering has there been any VW Mk1 Rabbits or Golfs that have ever attended?

    Like from the early 80’s? Haven’t seen one there yet.

    Sweet, well everyone is in for a treat! I have a 77 Vw mk1 rabbit, I’m in the process of doing some cleanup work on it right now but i will sure to show up one of these weekends!

    Very nice, I’ve always loved those cars. Friend had a first gen GTI. Nice little rocket.

    Yes, they are. I still have the stock motor in it as of right now, but I am planning on putting an updated one in, sometime in the future.
