GuestYou did a great job with your first attempt at the video. Make it the way you want and don’t worry if everyone doesn’t agree with your choices. My suggestion would be to aim the camera slightly more to the left or right and get more shots of the cars rather than the aisles. Keep it up.

GuestI missed C&C the week you shot the video but Im interested in seeing what you and others are using for camera mounts.
I use one from http://www.filmtools.com the model is the 3025. I have had pretty good luck with it, it is a very robust and fully serviceable unit. I have to tweak the cam a bit in regards to the image stabilization. I used it on our Porsche Club Fire to Water drive earlier this year – just been too lazy to dub out the wind noise and post the file anywhere.

GuestQuatroo, yep thats the one I have… works great although in the back of my mind I feel I need a strap of some kind ‘just in case’ it falls off on a hard bump or corner :/
The hardest part about that mount on the interior is setting it up so the camera is right side up.. I can only mount my Sony HD cam upside down from inside the vehicle and it keeps turning off for some odd reason.. already disabled shock sensor too odd.
To solve the wind noise I went down to the Sony Style store in Caesars Palace and bought the bluetooth mic adapter. It works great although mono it allows you to use it as the only mic or as the center 5.1 surround channel with the built in Sony cam mic.
Last week it kept shutting off on me while mounted upside down so I ditched it. This week is suppose to be the bmw club as well so I’ll figure out a way to mount this bad boy and do some decent video.
