Well, when you face this type of error on your Windows PC, whether you are using Windows 10, 8 or 7, you have to tweak a few settings and make some adjustments.
The first thing that you need to do is check whether your Windows security center service is running or not. Then you have to open the Windows services and select the Security center from there and double click to open its properties.
Now, you have to go to the General tab and select Automatic (Delayed Start) from the drop-down menu for Startup Type. And also, click on the Start button located right below that settings. This should fix the error on your PC, but if you still get errors. Then you would need to do the same for the dependent services and those are PRC and WMI.
