Beautiful velocity stacks! Back in the 80’s my first car (pre-rice rocket days) was a ’82 Toyota Celica. My dad had connections to TRD which sold very nice aftermarket go fast parts but not street legal. We yanked the 22-R truck motor and installed a Japanese marker 18R-G DOHC motor with dual mikuni carbs. For show I took the air cleaners off and bolted my four chromed 4″ velocity stacks. What a noise they made at full throttle. I think the engine put out about 190 HP……..back then that was enough to beat most stock Mustang and Camaro V8s. Wish I still had pics of that car. 🙂
