    I’m not sure if they gave him one or not, but these aren’t really Fords, technically. They are built by one of the few remaining American coachbuilders in Wisconsin: Mark Gerisch of Genaddi Design. Mark was the bald guy driving the ruby red X1 at the show yesterday. I know a gal who did some of the early work on them before leaving to start her own shop in Seattle. Fun car, that X1.

    By the way, that anti-theft alarm that was giving Clarkson all the troubles was an aftermarket system.
