This was one of the quietest Cars and Coffee in a while, which was probably due to the overcast skies we had in the morning. The quality in the show certainly wasn’t lacking though. There were several cool customs in attendance. My favorite customs where the VW short Bus and the Model-T hot rod powered by a 4-cylinder. There was even a Hummer which got left in the dryer too long!
One of the most amusing events of the morning was Max being accosted by a VW Mk IV owner because he didn’t take a picture of his beloved car as he left the even….yeah…ok.
All in all even as exhausted as I was that morning I was still a happy camper because there were 3 Ferrari Daytona’s in attendance.
Nevertheless, here are this weeks picks of the pics:

May 24, 2010 at 4:08 pm #132364AnonymousGuestNice pics as always. Two questions. First, do you know what “supercar” that is in pic #852? Some kind of McLaren wanna be? Uh, I do like it. Second, you get some nice color rendition with many photos you post. Is there some secret to how you do that? I shoot with a Canon 40D and use a Canon EF 17-35mm f/2.8 lens with a B&W CP filter. My colors aren’t as vibrant. Perhaps the filter? Thanks!

It’s actually a 2009 7 Liter Mosler MT900S. The car is American made and built in Florida. It weighs about 1,980 lbs and is powered by a mid mounted 535 hp LS7 V8. Zero-to-60 mph takes just 3.5 seconds.
Go to http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/ to check out Jay’s video review of the car.
Here is a link to the Mosler website:

Just luck? Oh and some editing. CNCpics is done by three of us Max, Chuck and I (Leo). We each have our own style and different equipment. When you click on the pics you can see who took it. My pictures are taken with a Sony Alpha 100 with a I’m a broke college student paying my own way through school so I don’t have any money to be buying equipment. I individually edit all the pics I take every weekend. But all I do is tweak the contrast a bit and the mid-tone with Microsoft Picture Manager. That’s pretty much it. I really don’t know all that much about photography. I just bought an SLR a few years ago because it was on sale and went at it. lololol
