so are they going to have the entire show bmw with the marque section for normal cars? i’m not sure that they know how many bmw’s are in the area
Is there still going to be a bmw drive?
is there gonna be any ferrari’s and other cars than the BMW’s on jan,12,08???
There is always other cars on a marque Saturday. Get there early though.
It was a good day, but I think the BMW guys over did it. More doesn’t always mean better and that was the case for me. I got there real early and was handed a slip of paper that said BMW wouldn’t overtake the rest of the lots, well they did. I know that we all love our cars, however an overload of newer marque cars & real common cars was a bit much and made it a lot less special for the marque.
The E30 M3’s were fine – but so many E36’s and 6-series, etc, etc in the rest of the show lots was just a bit overkill. Not to say they are not a great car – just that more isn’t better and it takes away from the specialness of the marque of the week when I see the same cars in mass at the grocery market.
Also – I would have to say that I’m not sure why so many Mazda Proteges were in the show car lot. I have a nice new Cooper and when I drive it to C&C – it gets parked in the spectator lot.
Alot of crappy cars got to park inside, and all the good cars were in the parking lot! 😀
Does anyone have an idea when the next BMW gathering will be at C&C.
