Didn’t get to stay long today, but it was really good seeing everyone again and meeting some new people! Didn’t have much chance to get many photos, but I did try out my little GoPro HD Hero. The two time lapse clips in the beginning and end were a little over 10 minutes of still shots (around 350 photos each) taken once every two seconds on a mechanical timer that rotated about 35 degrees in that time. See you next week!

Looks great Jeff. I was going to ask you about that camera. I was just reading an article about it. Great stuff. Great to see everyone as well. Looking forward to many Saturdays with the group.

Thanks Don! It is a pretty neat little camera. Check their website for some amazing videos of all kinds..
What makes it so neat is there are so many different ways to mount it, it’s very light weight, it’s water proof, has decent sound and can do full 1080 HD. I’ve done editing of the videos using only Movie Maker or what ever it is that comes with windows on my Windows laptop and on my Mac desktop with iMovie. Very easy to get nice results, or you can output straight from the camera to a TV without doing anything. I’ll show it to you next time I see you. I joined REI over at Park Meadows and got it for 30% off.
Here is a clip showing stuff with it mounted using that suction cup I showed you on the rear quarter panel, hood, rear deck, inside window, etc… It would get some great rolling shots of everyone out on the road if we can set it up…
