I think the main issue is the policing of the specified parking areas. Why was a Mazda parked in the Classic section, etc? I’m not trying to single out any make or model, but since it was brought up……….. I drive a 73 Challenger, and there was not a single open space in the Classic section at 7:45 AM, so I went back home. The Challenger section was already filled, and not with only Challengers. I’ll probably try again next month, and hopefully I will be able to stay for the whole thing. That way I will not have to be concerned about being blocked in.

This thread has drawn a pretty large amount of views in a short time. Are there any C&C or Classic officials that might be able to chime in with their thoughts/observations? Maybe the bottom line is that you need to arrive by 7AM to get a spot in your designated area. If that’s the case, then so be it, but I would like to see the parking designations enforced better. I see quite a few “Staff” walking around, could one person be assigned an aisle, and they make sure no one else parks there other than who is supposed to?

I know it sucks, but if you show up with (fill in the make/model blank) number 101, when they only have enough parking spots for 100, then you should be turned away, not allowed to park in someone else’s spot.

I agree.. Im gonna come even earlier next time. Thats the only option I see for now unless as you stated some staff or somebody sees this and addresses the issue. And ya I saw the black mazdaspeed 6 parked in the classic section.. But as stated this is all over the lot there are cars in every section that dont belong in them. Its confusing
